kendas tagged me for this meme and because I love her I'll actually do it. Plus. Random facts about the Jess? Who wouldn't want to know. No. I'm not vain. Not at all.



1. I am named after a favorite soap opera character of my mum's. I was going to be Heather, but then my aunt pointed out that Heather was evil on General Hopsital (or was it Days of Our Lives?) and they shouldn't doom me from birth. So instead I was named "Jessica" after the sweet alter ego of the town murderess. A good swap, no? (And yes. My mom and aunt still regularly watch whatever soap it was I was named from, although the characters have long since been killed off/resurrected/killed off again.

2. I started writing fanfiction in grade school. I think it was 2nd or 3rd grade. And it was assigned by a teacher. I hated the ending to Where the Red Fern Grows, so my teacher challenged me to write a new ending for the story. And so I did, and it was great, if I do say so myself.

3. I have fallen off...umm...12? mountains, and yet never broken a bone. Apparently I bounce. Much like Neville. Hmmm...that could be useful!

4. My earliest memory is from when I was around four years old, and my cousin almost drowned. I had nightmares for years about it, and my cousin still fears the water.

5. My favorite film? Is not Gone with the Wind as I lead everyone to believe. Nor is it even The Princess Bride. My favorite film of all time is Three Men and a Baby. *hides from tomato throwing* I don't tell people because it is embarrassing because it's really a terrible movie. But. I loves it anyway. *pets move*

6. I have to remind myself everyday not to call Adam Brody "Terry Boot". In my defense, Terry has taken over my life first in stoatshead_hill and later beyonddark_rpg, and as he's the reason I'm rarely active on LJ it's quite understandable. I just don't think RL people would think of it that way.

7. I'm dating a cop and recently he got me out of a ticket. Which was nice, because I didn't have to cry this time. (And yes. You may flame me for crying to get out of tickets. I know it's evol but really. If it works, it works right?) I knew there was a reason I started shagging him. Besides the fact that he looks damn sexy in a holster.

8. Under my high school graduation robes? I wore a terry cloth bathrobe (like the strapless kind you wear over swimsuits) because I couldn't find a nice white dress. I was the most comfortable person there, because I also didn't wear a bra. SUCKERS!
