Fate's Follies

I've decided to remove Fate's Follies from the 'net as it has been brought to my attention that Nora Roberts prosecutes for use of her characters. It saddens me to have to abandon this fic, but it's not worth the hassle I've been receiving from some people about the fic. *sad face* I still love the idea of The Three Fates in general, so I may rework the idea into something not quite so like NR's book. Feel free to flame all you want, I've already cried about it, so it's okay. My H/R/Hr is on-going, as well as the Abandoned!Harry fic, so I'm not dropping out of fandom at all!! This is actually kinda a good thing, as I can concentrate more on my studies and more orginal works than this. I'm really sorry to all the loyal fans who've stuck with me through 14 chapters!! This may not be the end of the fic, I will just have to re-work it so it's not so recognizable I suppose. A new plot, but same pairings and general scheme of things. Thanks for all the support!!

OMG NO!!! It was one of my favourite fics ever!!!
Are you really going to stop writing or is there any way you could continue it and like, email the chapters to us or something. Your story was SOOPUR AWESOME... :(

and technically you're not using her characters... only the plot. Unless she just doesn't allow fanfiction in general... (which is kinda mean IMO, and I know Anne Rice does it too... :/)

She doesn't allow it in any form, though to be honest, some of her fics read like fanfiction to me, her newest book Morrigan's Cross among them. It's all about vampires and shape-shifters and witches. It was like reading Buffy fanfic crossed with Highlander and Harry Potter. Anyway, I might do a mailing list thing, but I think I'm just going to remix the story with a slightly different plot device. It will take awhile though, so we'll see what happens.

But, omg, can you imagine what would happen if Joss Whedon and JK Rowling pulled a Nora Roberts? I actually think the internet would die from shock. Seriously!

I know!! The internet would be dead without Buffy and HP fandomness, I think.

Anyway, good luck with everything. Too bad it had to be pulled off the internet... I didn't even archive it or anything. :( *is stupid*
