Fate's Follies

I've decided to remove Fate's Follies from the 'net as it has been brought to my attention that Nora Roberts prosecutes for use of her characters. It saddens me to have to abandon this fic, but it's not worth the hassle I've been receiving from some people about the fic. *sad face* I still love the idea of The Three Fates in general, so I may rework the idea into something not quite so like NR's book. Feel free to flame all you want, I've already cried about it, so it's okay. My H/R/Hr is on-going, as well as the Abandoned!Harry fic, so I'm not dropping out of fandom at all!! This is actually kinda a good thing, as I can concentrate more on my studies and more orginal works than this. I'm really sorry to all the loyal fans who've stuck with me through 14 chapters!! This may not be the end of the fic, I will just have to re-work it so it's not so recognizable I suppose. A new plot, but same pairings and general scheme of things. Thanks for all the support!!

Now I'm pissed. (Not at you though.) I read the first two chapters and loved it and I had the other chapters saved in my links, so I'm upset I can't finish reading them. I'm sorry to hear this darling, but I understand!

Ah, I'm really sorry to hear Fate's Follies has been...well, delayed for you. Okay, I'm sorry for us, your readers! But I completely understand your caution, and we've got your back. No worries. I have to admit, I really really really hope you're able to rework it with ease so it can be reposted speedily! It's been one of my favorite WIPs to follow! Best of luck on it, and I'm glad to hear work on your other fics is progressing--I'm keeping a look out for them as well! ♥

I'm so sorry! I'm not familiar with Nora Roberts' work, but your story was absolutely wonderful. It's a shame, but you're right, better than litigation I suppose. Still, I'm just really glad there's the other two stories you're posting, it'd be sad if such a good writer as yourself went completely on hiatus. Now, when may I hope for the next chapter of abandoned!harry?

and technically you're not using her characters... only the plot. Unless she just doesn't allow fanfiction in general... (which is kinda mean IMO, and I know Anne Rice does it too... :/)

oh this were such sad news to read, I love Fate's Follies so much, I just can't believe this. I really sit frozen for a good 5 minutes just staring at the screen.
Oh I'm so sad, I mean I completly understand you, but so sad.
And just when H&R finally happened.
A question though, is there a place where the story is archived? I saved a couple of chapters but not the whole thing.
