SOB!!!!!!! Just watched the Angel ep where Doyle dies....SOB!!!!!!!! I'd forgotten how much I LOVE Doyle!! I am still crying. Sobbing really. I don't think I cried this much when i watched the one where Buffy died. Poor Doyle.

I've seen that episode a lot and I still cry when I watch it...when I first saw it, I almost died. It just takes you so off guard...I loved Doyle, still do, and it was a pitty that Joss killed him off.

Hehe, yes much Doyle love. I haven't read much Doyle fanfic but Esmeralda writes him pretty good, I think. The saddest part is that Glenn Quenn (I'm not sure if I spelled his last name right, I'm horrible at those kinds of things) is also dead, it's kind of like salt in the wound. First they kill of his character and then the actor that plays him dies, it's horribly sad.

yeah, the reason they had to kill off Doyle wasn't so much because the character needed to go bye bye, but because Gelnn's drug and alcohol addiction was getting the way. I think the poor lad died of an overdose, but I'm not certain of that.

Yeah, but it still sucks that he had to leave, Doyle was a really wonderful character. It seems that Joss has somewhat of a sacrafice at the start of his shows (I never saw Firefly so I wouldn't know if it was the same there too). Jesse died on the first show of Buffy and then Doyle died during the first season of Angel...well it's just a thought
