Question for you Potterites

So, I was recently conversing with a friend about everyone's favorite snake-slayer, Neville Awesomepants Longbottom, and how he views Abe as a sort of father figure after book seven. And I said, 'oh that's a good mirror for the Harry-Albus' relationship'. Thoughts? Anyone? I'm too tired to extrapolate why that thought occurred to me, but I'd love to see what you all think. :-D

Well, you know what I think... that you're a genius. :)

But thinking about it too - Harry was the boy who lived, and Neville was the boy who almost could've. Kind of a second to Harry even though Neville is yes, made of awesomesauce. So too was Abe kind of playing second fiddle to Albus - it would only make sense that Abe and Neville had that bond of being underestimated and staying in the shadows of more important players in the big game.
