HARRY POTTER PARTIES!

So, as some of you may know (and most of you probably don't) our family business is a bookstore ( Percy's Books cuz I'm totally into self-promotion). And one of the biggest selling days in book retail (and I bet you can all guess what day I mean *points to subject line*) is coming up and I have a task for all of my F-List.

My mother has assigned me (surprise surprise) to plan the

BIGGEST HARRY POTTER PARTY LIKE EVAH KTHNX!

but I'm finding it hard to come up with ideas so:

HELP ME PLEASE!

We will probably have the run of the whole mall (don't get excited, it's very small, about 15 stores) and will have activities from about 2ish to midnight. I already have a magician lined up and a dramatic readers from the local community little theater coming to read the last chapter of HBP before midnight.

So, my question is: what else would make for fun Harry Potter activities? And prizes! :-D

Here are some of my ideas:
Crafts (make your own wand, origami owls, etc)
A "Quidditch" Game
Human Chess
Trivia Game (maybe like Harry Potter Jeopardy where the categories are Book 1, Book 2 or Charms, Sports, Romance. Something like that.)

Pretty lame I know. So...any ideas on how to really make this the

BIGGEST BESTEST HARRY POTTERIST PART OF ALL TIME LIKE EVAH?

(sorry for blinding you with color but...I'm in a RAINBOW mood today!)

OH OH!!! You could have like, couldron cakes for sale :D And butterbeer. I had a site that gave recipies they were pretty easy. AND UUUUH......you should have people come dressed up to win a prize or something. A prize could be a scarf or wand or something small, and you can even get a bag of droobles or something. At Princeton University this past week, they turned the campus into Hogwarts for a day. I heard they had 'make your pown potions' and all that neat stuff for the kids. Basically making slime and fizzy things. OH OHOH!! Our Barnes & Noble had a sorting hat party. Where people got to get a house assigned to them and that might be cool.

IM SO JEALOUS I CANT COME take pictures :D:D:DD
